The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WLIFW) Autumn-Winter 2010, hosted by the Fashion Design Council of India, Witnessed the participation of 130 designers and 75 of them will also be presenting shows. The 15th edition of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WLIFW) Autumn-Winter 2010 got off to a good start in New Delhi.
At the end of the day, the show stoppers were indeed Hemaji and Esha. Designer Rocky S had got in the mother daughter duo, Hema Malini and Esha Deol, to walk for his collection. The veteran actress got a standing ovation from the crowd as several people in the front row stood up to clap for the Dream-girl.
Hema Malini was seen in a maroon and bottle green sari. It was heavily embroidered with gold, and had the rich heritage look well blended with the latest contemporary fashion look imbibed.
Esha Deol was given a heavily embroidered lehenga, which had the same basic combinations of maroon, bottle green and gold.
The collection was astounding and as the mother, daughter strutted on the ramp, there were quite a few deep breaths taken, both of them looked stunning and Esha was blushing, as she walked a tad bit carefully. Since the bridal suit that Esha wore was very heavy, her mother had to literally hold her, so that she would be able to carry herself and the outfit steadily.
